1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using ClipMap, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use ClipMap.

2. Description of service

ClipMap is a desktop application for viewing and navigating Pro Tools session files (.ptx). The application is available in a free tier and a paid Professional tier. ClipMap operates offline — no network connection is required to open and view sessions.

3. License

The ClipMap desktop application is licensed, not sold. Your rights to use the software are governed by the End User License Agreement (EULA), which is incorporated herein by reference.

4. Purchases and refunds

Professional licenses are sold as one-time perpetual purchases. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for Professional license purchases. To request a refund, contact us at support@clipmapapp.com within 30 days of purchase.

Refunds are not available after 30 days. Payment processing is handled by Stripe; refunds are subject to Stripe processing times.

5. Acceptable use

You may use ClipMap only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble ClipMap
• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense ClipMap
• Use ClipMap to infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to circumvent license activation mechanisms

6. Intellectual property

ClipMap and all related intellectual property are owned by us or our licensors. Pro Tools and the .ptx format are trademarks and property of Avid Technology, Inc. ClipMap is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Avid Technology.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

ClipMap is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that ClipMap will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that all .ptx session formats will be correctly parsed. Use of ClipMap is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of ClipMap, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the license.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of ClipMap after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via the website or by email for paid customers.
